"I always had a passion for cars growing up, but I was never that guy that could look at the front of the car & tell you exactly what year or model it was - but I hung around a few of those guys! I wanted to build a car, but knew if I was left scour the junkyards for a gem, I would fail miserably. In 2016, I began my search & ended up the Factory Five Racing website - the 1933 Hot Rod kit that they offered seemed to check ALL of the boxes for me. I would be able to start with ALL new components, they supplied a (750) page build manual, & I also had the option to attend a (3) Day Build School - I was sold!" After growing up as, not only a Dallas Cowboy's fan, but a car enthusiast, in 2017, O'Pelt began his effort to merge the two passions of his life by building a car that carried the theme of the team he had followed all of his life - Star Mobile One!
